How Do YOU Know When It’s Your Moment?
You don’t. You could potentially be waiting your entire lifetime, on something great to happen to you, something extraordinary. It’s the moment you’ve dreamed about, you’ve prayed about, you’ve worked relentlessly for, WHEN is it going to happen! As the years go by, and you’re steady on your grind, you constantly sacrifice, but continuously miss out on countless birthdays, and holidays, and family gatherings and picnics, and class reunions, and any other monumental event that you can possibly think of—you miss out on, and your “moment” still hasn’t come. You feel it coming, people around you begin to feel like “something is about to happen”, a few more years go by, and nothing yet. Great experiences, sure—but not that moment you’ve been waiting for.
Time is important, how we spend it, and who we spend it with, is important. What I’ve discovered, is that “the” moment—is always NOW. It’s not always necessary to sacrifice as much as you do, you feel it’s necessary because you’re grinding, but in reality—your family needs to see you, your friends need to hear from you. Share the experiences leading to that great moment, with them.
Don’t be so caught up, striving for THE moment, that you don’t experience the beauty of the moment that you’re in.
